1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Calendar Event Assistant, you agree to these Terms of Use and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, please do not use the application.
2. Description of Service
Calendar Event Assistant is a productivity tool that uses automation and artificial intelligence to identify potential calendar events in authorized email accounts.
Users may review extracted event details and approve or decline invitations before they are added to a connected calendar.
3. Account Registration
You agree to provide accurate account information and to maintain the security of your login credentials.
You are responsible for activity occurring through your account, except where responsibility cannot legally be assigned to you.
4. Connecting Third-Party Services
The application may connect to Gmail, Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, and Outlook Calendar.
You must have permission to connect the accounts you authorize. Your use of third-party services remains subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
You may revoke permissions or disconnect supported accounts, although doing so may limit application functionality.
5. Artificial Intelligence and Accuracy
Calendar Event Assistant uses AI-assisted extraction to identify dates, times, event descriptions, and other information.
AI-generated results may be incomplete, incorrect, duplicated, or based on ambiguous email content.
You are responsible for reviewing event information before approving it, including dates, time zones, meeting links, and other important details.
The application is not a substitute for independently verifying important appointments or deadlines.
6. User Responsibilities
You agree not to:
- Connect accounts you do not own or have authorization to access.
- Use the application for unlawful purposes.
- Attempt to access another user's private information.
- Interfere with the application's security or operation.
- Abuse automated processing or connected provider services.
7. Service Availability
Features may depend on third-party APIs, AI providers, internet connectivity, and account permissions.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features as reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law.
8. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual Property
The application's original branding, interface, and software components are protected by applicable intellectual property laws, subject to the rights of their respective owners.
Users retain their rights in content obtained from or associated with their own accounts.
10. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the application is provided on an "as available" basis without guarantees of uninterrupted operation, error-free AI extraction, or successful calendar synchronization.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from inaccurate event extraction, missed notifications, third-party outages, or incorrect calendar information.
This provision does not limit liability where such limitations are prohibited by law.
