1. Introduction

Calendar Event Assistant is a productivity application that helps users identify events, meetings, workshops, webinars, and deadlines in their emails and add selected events to their calendars.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, access, use, store, share, and protect information when you use Calendar Event Assistant.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on the features you authorize, we may process:

  • Account information, including your email address, profile details, and authentication identifiers.
  • Connected Gmail or Microsoft Outlook account information.
  • Email information, including message identifiers, subjects, message content, and relevant metadata.
  • Event details extracted from emails, including event titles, dates, times, descriptions, meeting links, and registration links.
  • Connected Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar information, including your selected calendar provider. The current application creates approved events in your Google primary calendar or the connected Outlook account’s default calendar; it does not offer selection of an individual calendar within a provider.
  • Application preferences, connection status, approval decisions, and technical information necessary to operate the service.
  • Profile photos or external photo URLs you provide.

The browser stores sign-in session information and notification seen-event markers to maintain your session and reduce repeated alerts. Desktop notifications require browser permission and depend on the application remaining open; they are not closed-app push notifications.

3. How We Access and Use Email Data

When you authorize an email connection, Calendar Event Assistant may access messages in the connected inbox to identify relevant event information.

Email content may be processed through authorized service providers, including automation and AI processing services, to extract structured event information.

The application presents extracted events for your review. Its intended workflow requires your approval before adding an event to your selected calendar.

We do not use Gmail or Outlook message content for advertising, advertising targeting, or sale to data brokers.

4. Calendar Access

When you connect a calendar, the application uses the permissions you authorize to verify the connection and create events you approve in your Google primary calendar or connected Outlook account’s default calendar.

Calendar Event Assistant does not intentionally create events from extracted invitations without the approval required by its event-review workflow.

5. Google API Data

If you connect a Google account, Calendar Event Assistant accesses and uses Google user data only to provide the email-processing, event-review, and calendar-management features you authorize.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Google user data is not sold, used for personalized advertising, or used to train generalized AI models by the application operator.

6. Service Providers and Data Sharing

We use service providers to operate the application, which may include:

  • Lovable and its associated application infrastructure for application hosting, authentication, and data management.
  • Make.com for workflow automation and data transfer.
  • An AI processing provider, such as Google's Gemini services through Make AI Toolkit, for extracting event details.
  • Google and Microsoft APIs for authorized email and calendar connections.

Where configured, approval notifications may also send an invitation identifier, title, decision, selected calendar provider, and created event identifier to Make.com. Email content submitted for extraction may appear in Make.com execution history and be processed by the configured AI service. The operator must assess the applicable service settings and terms; this policy does not certify the providers’ AI training, logging, or retention practices.

Information is shared with these providers only as needed for the application's disclosed functions, subject to the actual configurations and applicable provider terms.

We may also disclose information when legally required or to address security incidents and misuse.

7. Data Storage and Retention

The application stores account and profile records, preferences, connected-service records, extracted events, approval decisions and history, calendar event identifiers, and monitoring status in Lovable Cloud. Uploaded profile photos are stored in private, account-scoped storage. User-provided external photo links are also supported; displaying those images contacts the image host.

For multi-user inbox processing, the application can store encrypted email-processing payloads, inbox continuation cursors, and callback credentials, as well as message identifiers and subjects. Connection keys used to authorize provider access are stored encrypted on the server. The application does not ask for or store your Gmail or Outlook password.

Extraction callback authorization expires after seven days under the current job configuration. This is an authorization limit, not a deletion or data-retention period. Successful callback completion clears the encrypted message payload and callback credential from the job; cancellation of outstanding jobs when a connection is replaced or disconnected also clears these fields. Message identifiers, subjects, job records, and extracted invitations remain. Expiry alone does not erase the stored payload.

No automatic cleanup schedule or fixed retention period for email-processing payloads, extracted events, approval history, profile photos, or account records is currently implemented. Disconnecting a supported service deletes its stored connection key after successful disconnection and pauses associated inbox monitoring; it does not delete previous invitations, processing records, account data, or calendar events already created. Replacing a profile photo does not automatically delete older uploaded photos.

Make.com, AI providers, hosting providers, and connected account providers may separately retain execution history, logs, backups, or data under their terms and settings. Their retention and deletion procedures are not controlled by the application’s disconnection action.

For information about retained records or to request deletion, email mscute365@gmail.com. Requests require manual review; the application currently has no self-service account deletion or data export tool. No automatic deletion deadline is promised.

8. Data Security

We use application authentication, authorized account connections, access controls, and other technical safeguards intended to protect user information.

No online service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on the application's available features and applicable law, you may:

  • Connect or disconnect supported email and calendar accounts.
  • Select a calendar for approved events.
  • Approve or decline extracted event invitations.
  • Request access to or deletion of information associated with your account.
  • Withdraw Google or Microsoft account permissions through the respective provider's account settings.

Disconnecting an account may stop future access without automatically deleting previously stored application records.

10. Account Deletion

To request account or data deletion, email mscute365@gmail.com. Requests are handled manually, not through an automatic account-deletion feature. We will explain the applicable deletion process, verify the request, and identify any information that must be retained for legitimate legal or security purposes. Deletion of application records does not itself remove events already created in your calendar or establish deletion by third-party providers.

11. Children's Privacy

Calendar Event Assistant is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in application functionality, data handling, or legal requirements. The updated policy will display its effective date, and we will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required.
